So what can I say about Frank, Well he's one of a kind alright, Frank is a lovable, polite, considerate, determined young man who will not stop at anything. I remember when Frank was just 5 years old & we would read together , from a book that he'd bring home time to time from school. The book was titled "The Little Train that could". It was a story of a little boy called Casey, who was determined to drive his train up and over a hill. Casey would do this every day until he finally accomplished what he had set out to do. I guess you can say Frank is just like Casey. When he sets his mind to do something you can bet on it, he will do it.
....There are many things that Frank did or got into when he was a child, but this one incident in particular I truly believe was the beginning for him, that is to say that's why Frank is where he is today. It started with the Sicilian Club of Wpg, which is one of the Italian Clubs that we belong to. They were putting on a Fund raiser for the Children's Hospital. Entertainment was local talent from our Italian Community. Two days before the show, one of the entertainers cancelled out, so a friend of ours approached me and asked if I knew of anyone that could sing or dance? I volunteered my children Frank and his sister Maria...Frank at the time had just turned 8 and Maria was 5 yrs old. Without consulting my children first I decided to sign them up. Now keep in mind the only reason I signed them up was so that they could improve their self-esteem, and I wanted to teach them that if you set your mind on doing something you can do anything. Nothing is impossible.
Needless to say the kids did not want to do this at first, especially after they heard that there was going to be approximately 1000 people watching them.. I did not know what I was going to do now.. I thought to myself how could I get these Kids to dance??? So I sat the kids down and said Look you can't embarrass Mom now!!! You have to do this for all the kids at the Children's Hospital. I knew I would have no problem with Maria, she would basically do whatever her brother Frank did. Frank on the other hand was still not up for this! Finally I suggested to Frank that Mommy would give him a nice crispy $50.00 dollar bill. It was a deal. Frank was finally convinced. I quickly choreographed a dance routine, and got Frank and Maria and two of our friend's children together. Frank was the main dancer and did lip sync to the song. We practiced for two days to  the song by "New Kids on the Block" called "Hanging Tough". Well, what can I say? To make a long story short, after Frank saw the $50.00 dollar bill I was waiving and the audience giving them a standing ovation. Frank said..."Everybody was staring at me. They liked me Mom, so now can I really buy anything with the money?" In conclusion, Frank now has a passion for dancing and dances whenever he can. Always do what your heart tells you to do. Franks View:

I was influenced by John Travolta in flicks, such as Grease and Saturday Night Fever. I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my idol at that time John Travolta. With my dancing I perfected every single Michael Jackson move possible and boy did it pay off. Then along came Ricky Martin who inspired me even more. Presently in my spare time I am a Hot 103-booty dancer. After that first talent show fundraiser that my mom paid me to do. I saw the expressions on the faces of the audience and the adrenaline raced through my body. I knew right then that dancing was my life. Thanks to Rene Estella, Todd Parker and the rest of the posse at Shirleys Dance Studio they have made me the person that I wanted to be. I have won a Gold Metal in pre-bronze Latin in a competiton in Montreal " La Classique du Quebec". Rene and I are now going to be competing for our second time at the Snowball Competiton in Vancouver, BC in February 2003. Im proud to say that Shirleys Dance Studio is my second home. People only see me dance the finished product. Behind that is a lot of hard work and "commitment".
